| Christmas Trip |
It was great to see everyone yesterday and also good to see so many new faces. Many thanks for supporting the event which once again was a great success.
The food lived up to expectations and a good day was had by all I believe.
I hope to confirm the venue for our 2008 Xmas Trip early in the New year. I'm looking at few potential locations, the Pendle area, Blubberhouses and Calderdale. I'll keep you all posted and as ever, venue suggestions are always very welcome!
In the meantime I'd like to take this opportunity to that you all for your support during 2007 and wish you a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2008. See you all soon

| AUTUMN/WINTER 2007/08
I would like to welcome you all to our social section of the website and especially to new and current members and guests who may be looking in for the first time. Once again we had a busy Spring/Summer kicking off with our annual Dinner and presentations in March at Baildon Golf Club. Our guest speaker Ian Goodyear was outstanding!! Then the Charity Barn Dance in May which is now a well established event on the club Social Calendar and the Summer Trip to the Top Brink at Mankinholes. There will be a monthly Pub run right through the winter. Please check the Social section on our website and notice board at Beck Foot for details of all events taking place throughout the year.
I am always looking for suggestions from members on how we can continue to improve our Social environment at the Club. Considering we are the only Athletics Club in the region with no on site Social HQ i.e. Club House I think we are doing very well! The reason for this is very simple – You!
